Privacy Policy

SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from my store, as part of the buying and selling process, I collect the personal information you give me such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse my store, I also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide me with information that helps me learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, I may send you emails about my store, events, new products and other relevant updates.

SECTION 2 – CONSENT

How do you get my consent?

When you provide me with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, and you consent to me collecting this personal information and using it for this reason.

If I ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, I will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

You have the right under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) to see any personal information that I hold for you by making your request in writing and I will provide this information as soon as I can but in any event no later than 28 days from the date of your written request.

You also have the right under GDPR to request that I amend any incorrect information that I hold by making your request in writing and I will update this information as soon as I can but in any event no later than 28 days from the date of your written request.

Lastly you have the right under GDPR to request that I remove any information that I hold on you by making a written request which we will action and confirm as soon as possible but in any event within 28 days of your written request. I may need to hold some limited information about you to comply with regulatory and legal reasons, this is particularly important where I have been requested to hold information by a legal agency or because you have been a customer and this information is required for accounting reasons.

SECTION 3 – DISCLOSURE

I may disclose your personal information if I am required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by me will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to me.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information I am required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, I recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located at a different jurisdiction than either you or I. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

Once you leave my website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or my website’s Terms of Service.

When you click links in my store, they may direct you away from my site. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

SECTION 5 – SECURITY

To protect your personal information, I take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If I become aware that any of your personal information has been lawfully accessed I will let you know as soon as is practically possible but in any event no later than 72 hours after this is discovered.

If you provide me with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, I follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

SECTION 6 – CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

I reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If I make material changes to this policy, I will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information I collect, how I use it, and under what circumstances, if any, I use and/or disclose it.
